Custom Sublimation Transfers

Pressing Process

Place your sublimation transfer face-down onto a 100% polyester garment (or a substrate with a sublimation coating).

Make sure the surface is flat, lint-free, and completely dry. Use heat-resistant tape to secure the transfer in place.

Cover the area with butcher paper or a Teflon sheet to avoid ghosting or ink bleed.

Press at 385°F–400°F for 45–60 seconds with medium to firm pressure.

Peel and Reveal

After pressing, carefully remove the butcher paper and peel the sublimation paper hot.

You’ll see vibrant, permanent results—the ink has turned into gas and bonded with the fabric fibers.

There’s no feel to the touch, no peeling, no cracking—just a smooth, vivid finish.

Important Reminders

Sublimation only works on light-colored polyester fabrics or specially coated hard substrates.

The higher the polyester content, the better the result (100% polyester recommended for best vibrancy).

Sublimation does not work on cotton.

Always pre-press garments for 5-10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles before applying the transfer.
